Gifty Affoh is a third-year Renewable Energy Engineering student at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Tarkwa, and currently serves as the General Secretary of the Renewable Energy Engineering Students Association (REESA).

Gifty has a strong passion for the electrical dimension of renewable energy, with particular interest in smart grid systems, energy automation, and power distribution networks. 

Her technical focus is complemented by her excellent communication, organization, and coordination skills, qualities that she brings to her role as a student leader.

Outside her academic and leadership commitments, Gifty is also a sports enthusiast who values an active and balanced lifestyle, believing that holistic well-being contributes to personal and professional growth.

Through her role in REESA, she is committed to supporting the association’s vision of building student capacity, promoting innovation, and creating platforms for sustainable energy dialogue.
