Zaibatu Abdulai is a passionate and purpose-driven Renewable Energy Engineering student at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), currently serving as the Women’s Commissioner of the Renewable Energy Engineering Students Association (REESA).
Zaibatu is committed to creating a more inclusive energy future by advocating for the active participation of women in science, technology, and engineering. In her role, she supports and represents female students, organizes empowerment programs, and promotes equity within the student community.
With a deep interest in renewable energy solutions, community development, and youth leadership, she is driven to use her education to make a lasting impact in her community and beyond. Zaibatu believes in the power of mentorship, collaboration, and education to shape confident, capable leaders, especially among young women in STEM.
Her ultimate goal is to combine technical expertise with social impact, helping solve real-world challenges while uplifting those around her.
